I think education at all levels is critical to conserving biodiversity. I have prepared multiple resources to help teachers effectively communicate important topics described below. The presentations are targeted to middle and high school students, but could be adjusted for any age group. These presentations are saved as two separate PDF documents (a slide show and notes for each slide), make sure you download them both.
